Working with Miami-Dade County, the City of Miami, Miami-Dade County Public Schools and neighborhood stakeholders, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts created a master plan and vision for transforming its dormant, surrounding 8- to 12-block area into New Town Square. This arts-led revitalization effort stimulated new development and tied the Center to an emerging downtown, new museums and arts organizations populating the area, and neighboring communities, with the potential to unify this sprawling region.
