The Department of Making + Doing (DM+D) is an innovative community makerspace that empowers youth, adults and community organizations to do great things in Philadelphia though hands-on learning. Created in 2013, DM+D is a collaborative partnership of four dynamic Philadelphia organizations—NextFab, University City Science Center, Public Workshop and The Hacktory.
