Mini Build Workshops

This one-day event was hosted by Charlotte Center City Partners and the McColl Center for Arts + Innovation and invited teens from the Bethlehem Center’s After School Program to build a model of their daily commute from home to school. Each teen shared their story with the group. After a walking tour, the teens worked together to design a new parklet on the Trail. The event exposed students to urban design principles and gave the project team valuable feedback from an often overlooked stakeholder group.
