The Old Stone Mill will restore and reuse an historic mill as a zero waste maker space that will process community waste; serve as a center for economic innovation; and function as part of the region’s brand of cultural creation as part of a play to attract new residents. The project will use applied arts, science, and technology to address environmental challenges and economic disinvestment in this rural context.
This is the video we did for the ArtPlace grant. We used the technique used in Monty Python movies. It's called cut out animation.
It represents the goals and aspirations for the mill.
Here is our bike and hands on learning program at Youth Center Inc. They are one of our partners in the ArtPlace grant. When the mill is open we will have our Youth Programs there as well. For now every Friday we go there to work with the kids.
