Divided into two parts, the first is composed of a series of articles written by practitioners, academics, and leaders in the creative placemaking field. The second profiles 16 ArtPlace America grantees explaining how creative placemaking actually works in the field.

CIVIC ARTS LIBRARY
In this resource hub, Civic Arts gathers together a number of creative placemaking resources from around the field and organizes them with a local government audience in mind. Resources can be found organized with descriptions by topic and project stage. This library also includes a compendium of webinars, blogs, and learning modules designed for the Engaging Local Government Leaders community and are free and available to the public. This resource is a “living library” and will continue to grow over time.
CIVIC PRACTICE: ARTISTS AND COMMUNITY/MUNICIPAL PARTNERS COLLABORATING FOR PUBLIC GOOD
A series a series of short videos, interactive exercises, readings, and podcast archives guiding students through practical skills for applying aspects of your (arts and non arts) practices collaboratively towards public good, community-defined goals; focus includes equitable engagement and an analysis of power within collaborations and systems.
COLLECTIVE IMPACT FORUM COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT TOOLS
The Community Engagement Toolkit shares a series of tools for planning community engagement to be more purposeful, equitable, transparent, and strategic so that community members are true partners for achieving impact. This toolkit includes tools exploring these areas: Be Result-Driven & Purposeful, Community Engagement Spectrum, Asset-Based Community Development, Equity – Who is at Our Tables?, Equity – Testing Assumptions & Bias, Assessing Audiences, Building Partnerships, Capacity Building, and Change Management.
